Sophia Lee : I am 9-year-old, 4th grade student who loves books, art, and spending time with my family. I love playing on the monkey bars with my brother.
Hyeyoung Lee: I am a mother of two children. I came to the United States from South Korea to follow my dream of becoming a nurse practitioner and graduated from the program in 2012. I worked hard to build my career and help others through my profession. In 2021, when my son was diagnosed with autism, my life changed in ways I never expected. Now I am a stay-at-home mother, enjoying my life with my family. My greatest joy is spending time with my family. I never planned to become a children’s author, but our family’s experiences inspired my daughter Sophia and me to share a story about kindness, inclusion, and hope.
